“ One of the most memorable dining experiences I've ever had. It's a tiny place (maybe 8-10 covers per night), a large interior room and a beautiful patio, with a quaint garden in which some of the herbs and edible flowers are grown. A serene, quiet, and peaceful setting. We all loved the food. Five dishes, and at least 2 or 3 were among the most delicious dishes I've had. A sign of a good restaurant is when the vegetable based dishes are better than the meat - this was the case here! We went with our six year old and they offered a more pared down menu for them, but we went with the full courses. The staff were utterly lovely. Thank you all! ”

The five course menu was perfect, showing a variety of seasonal and local ingredients (without being overly filling - as set menus can sometimes be) and the accompanying wine pairings (many natural, biodynamic or organic) were fantastic - and the right size to drive home after! Perhaps what is even most impressive is the level of detail and the wonderful flavours, and the fact that this is all created by one man in the adjacent kitchen. Honestly feels like a truly bespoke and exceptional meal. The restaurant itself sits at most a dozen people, resulting in an intimate yet homey experience, the space is modern and the perfect backdrop for the menu. Please please please make this your next visit for dinner or lunch, you will not be disappointed! In fact, like me, you’ll probably want to tell everyone about it and come back again! ”
